GRANDVIEW SPEEDWAY QUICK RESULTS FROM SATURDAY, May 30, 2015

K.HIRTHLER, K.GILMORE, FLEMING, KISER AND GARIS FEATURE WINNERS AT GRANDVIEW

       For the second time this season Kevin Hirthler was able to park his Pioneer Pole Buildings/Green Lane Wm. Penn #117 in victory lane at Grandview Speedway Saturday night winning the 30-lap main event for the T.P.Trailers 358 Modifieds on T.P. Trailers Night. Kenny Gilmore earned his second Saturday night NASCAR Sportsman feature win topping the field in the 25-lap main event. Kory Fleming made it a night of second time feature winners as he was able to grab his second win of the season in the 25-lap BRC Late Model feature race.

       Kevin Kiser topped the field in the 12-lap A feature for Blast from the Past Vintage Cars and in the B feature Mike Garis Jr. earned the win.

       Doug Manmiller put together a strong effort to finish behind Hirthler in the Modified feature race. Tim Buckwalter was a close third followed by Don Norris Jr. and Glenn Strunk.

       Multi-time winner Brett Kressley was close to Gilmore at the finish but had to settle for second followed by Ryan Lilick, Craig Whitmoyer and Brian Hirthler.

       Current point leader Chuck Schutz, a six time champion, finished on the rear bumper in the Late Model main event with Sean Merkel, Wayne Pfeil and Dan Green finishing in that order.

        Ten time track champion Jeff Strunk was missing from racing on Saturday night as he was having health issues that kept him from racing this weekend.

        On Tuesday, June 2nd the United States Auto Club wingless sprint cars along with the American Racing Drivers Club wingless midgets will take part in the annual Jesse Hockett Memorial Classic featuring top racers from across the nation. Racing will start at 7:30 p.m. Adult admission is $25.

        The rained out Checkered Flag Fan Club visit from a couple weeks back is set for Saturday June 6th as part of Bashore Trucking/BFP Specialties Night. A 40-lap feature for the NASCAR Sportsman racers will be a highlight of the night along with T.P.Trailers NASCAR 358 Modifieds and BRC Late Models. Adult admission will be $20 while youngsters 5 through 11 will pay just $5 and under 5 will be admitted free.
