SATURDAY NIGHT QUICK RESULTS FROM GRANDVIEW SPEEDWAY NASCAR STOCK CAR RACING

THREE NEW WINNERS AT GRANDVIEW AS STRUNK, STOUDT AND LISOWSKI ARE NASCAR FEATURE WINNERS SATURDAY         

        Three new feature winners visited victory lane at Grandview Speedway on Saturday night as ten time track champion Jeff Strunk wheeled to his first win of the season in the 30-lap T.P.Trailers NASCAR 358 Modified stock car feature race. Strunk became the sixth different driver to win a 358 Modified feature race with seven events run this season.  Defending champion Randy Stoudt came out of his short retirement a few weeks back and he was back in victory lane winning the 25-lap BRC Late Model feature racing making him the fifth different feature winner in the division. In the 30-lap Sportsman feature race Mike Lisowski came home in front of the pack to get his first win of the season.

        Finishing second in the 30-lap 358 Modified feature was Craig VonDohren followed by Tim Buckwalter, Ryan Grim and Nate Christman.

       Multi-time champion Chuck Schutz, winner of two features this season, came home second in the Late Model main event while Sean Merkel scored a third place finish. Two feature winner Wayne Pfeil grabbed fourth followed by veteran Bill Henning.

        Young Brad Arnold was able to take a strong second in the Sportsman main event followed by Erik Renninger, Brett Gilmore and Ryan Lilick.

        Coming up on Saturday, May 30th, 7:30 p.m. is T.P. Trailers of Limerick Night featuring the NASCAR T.P. Trailers 358 Modifieds, BRC Late Models and Sportsman along with the extra added attraction of the Blast from the Past Vintage racers. This will also be Neurofibromatosis Awareness Night, an event that was rained out on May 16th.

        The rained out Checkered Flag Fan Club visit to Grandview is now set for June 6th as part of Bashore Trucking/BFP Specialties Night. A 40-lap feature for the NASCAR Sportsman racers will be a highlight of the night along with T.P.Trailers NASCAR 358 Modifieds and BRC Late Models. Adult admission will be $20 while youngsters 5 through 11 will pay just $5 and under 5 will be admitted free.
