SATURDAY NIGHT QUICK RESULTS FROM NASCAR STOCK CAR RACING AT GRANDVIEW

RYAN GRIM, SCHUTZ AND KRESSLEY ARE NASCAR FEATURE WINNERS ON INGERSOLL RAND NIGHT AT GRANDVIEW SPEEDWAY

BECHTELSVILLE, PA May 2, 2015 . . . After coming close last week Ryan Grim was able to become the fourth different winner in the NASCAR 358 Modified division taking the top spot in the 30-lap main event at Grandview Speedway Saturday night.  Veteran racer Chuck Schutz became the first two time winner in the BRC Late Model division taking the top spot in the 25-lap feature. For the fourth time this season Brett Kressley won the 25-lap Sportsman feature coming from 18th starting spot. All three feature winners earned a $600 tool pack courtesy of Ingersoll Rand along with their prize money and T.P.Trailers bonus bucks.

        Ray Swinehart had one of his strongest runs in a while finishing second in the Modified main event. Last week’s winner Craig VonDohren came home third followed by Jarred Miller and Brian Houseknecht, both having impressive runs.

        Putting pressure on the winner Joe Fanelli was able to finish second in the Late Model feature race with last week’s winner Kory Fleming coming home third. Bill Henning took fourth while Lou Egrie Jr. grabbed fifth.

        Veteran racing talent Kenny Gilmore finished a strong second in the Sportsman feature race while Ken Eckert, Jason Neidlinger and Eric Renninger followed.

         The complete night of racing was run off in just a little over 3 hours.

        All the racing action was video taped and will be shown on Lehigh Valley’s RCN-TV later in the week.

Mother’s Day will be celebrated on Whelen Engineering Night on Saturday, May 9, 7:30 p.m. This will be a four division night of racing featuring the NASCAR 358 Modifieds, BRC Late Models, Sportsman stock cars and the Blast from the Past Vintage racers. Adult admission will stay at $15 for adults and youngsters 11 and under are admitted free. The first 200 moms through the main spectator gate will receive a “pop cake” courtesy of Grandview Speedway management. Tammy Auman Photography will present 100 moms with a bottle of Natural Hand Lotion from Green Lemon Spa as they head through the main gate. And 50 moms going through the pit gate will receive a Green Lemon Spa Gift Bag from Tammy Auman Photography.
