POINTS BATTLE DOWN TO JUST TWO RACES AT GRANDVIEW
 
BECHTELSVILLE, PA August 26, 2009 . . . With just two races left in each stock car racing division at Grandview Speedway the battle for the lucrative NASCAR 358 modified and late model titles will be going down to the final checkered flag.
 This Saturday, August 29th, the American Racing Drivers Club wingless midgets will be an added attraction as 3 Starz Inc. Landscaping presents a tripleheader show that also includes the NASCAR 358 modifieds and late models. There will also be prizes for fans courtesy of Dover International Speedway.
 Jeff Strunk, a seven time track champion, holds a 286 point edge over challenger Duane Howard in the battle for the $10,000 plus modified title. Craig VonDohren, a six time champion, is a distant third in the standings but does have a mathematical chance to win the title.
 In the late models Randy Stoudt has a 59 point edge over Brian Shuey and 145 points over Ron Kline going into the final two nights of point racing.
 The Saturday show gets the green flag at 7:30 p.m. with action being topped by a 30-lap main event for modifieds, 20-lapper for late models and a 25-lap feature for the ARDC midgets.
 Admission for the special tripleheader show is $15 for adults, $5 for youngsters 6 thru 11 and under 6 are admitted FREE.
 Advance tickets will be available for the BPG Racing Freedom 76, the biggest event of the season, which is scheduled for Saturday, September 12th with a 7 p.m. starting time. The winner of this event goes home with $20,000 plus lap money in this the 39th annual edition of the dirt track racing classic.
 Fans will have the opportunity to see some of the best known names in local short track dirt racing as they try for a win in this prestigious race.
 Adult admission is $25, $10 for youngsters 6 thru 11 and under six are admitted FREE.
 The September 12th activities will also include the LineX of Lehigh Valley Freedom Fest which starts at 1 p.m. and includes a variety of activities for fans including a dunk tank, driver interviews, autograph sessions and more.  The event proceeds go to local charity.

 On Sunday, August 30th, 2:30 p.m., the NEETS Enduros will compete in a 100-lapper for big cars, a 100-lapper for small cars and a 25-lap race for the ladies.
 The final point race of the season is set for Saturday, September 5th when Green Lane Wm. Penn/Four Star Lettering present a tripleheader show featuring the NASCAR 358 modifieds, late models and a first time ever appearance of the sidewinders.
