THREE CAR TEAM ENTERED BY BPG RACING FOR FREEDOM 76 AT GRANDVIEW SPEEDWAY

BECHTELSVILLE, PA August 26, 2009 . . . BPG Racing, owned by successful Blue Bell, PA businessman Chad Sinon, will be making an all out assault on the BPG Racing Freedom 76 Modified stock car racing classic at Grandview Speedway on Saturday, September 12, 7 p.m.
The 76-lap dirt track racing event, offering $20,000 plus to the winner, is expected to attract a stellar field of top talents. A win in this prestigious event can be the highlight of a racer’s career.
BPG Racing will be fielding race cars for Duane Howard, considered by many to be one of the best racers on the local dirt circuits, Craig VonDohren, a six time Grandview Speedway modified champion, and Shawn Reimert, a veteran Grandview Speedway competitor.
Both Howard and VonDohren having been racing BPG Racing entries at Grandview Speedway this season. Howard is currently second in the NASCAR 358 Modified standings while VonDohren is third.
“We are adding Shawn Reimert to our team for this event because he has been a strong, consistent performer at Grandview,” said Sinon. “We think he has what it takes to be a winner of a major event like the Freedom 76 and we feel that he is due to be a winner.”
Howard, VonDohren and Reimert will be a formidable team as they all members of the team will be looking to be first across the finish line picking up the $20,000 first prize money. Second place isn’t too bad either with $10,000 waiting for the runner-up.
The three car “super team” will go up against some tough competition with seven time track champion Jeff Strunk in the field along with young Mike Gular, Ryan Godown, Jon Kellner Sr., Ray Swinehart, Meme DeSantis, Tom Mayberry, Terry Meitzler, Brad Missimer and a host of others. Several “visitors”, racers that do not normally race at the Bechtelsville, PA clay oval, are expected to be entered.
Included in the BPG Racing Freedom 76 night of racing will be qualifying heats starting at 7 p.m. along with the Minuteman 20 (last chance to make the big race), a Cash Dash paying $1,000 to win followed by the 39th annual BPG Racing Freedom 76.
Admission for adults is just $25, children 6-11 pay $10 and youngsters under 6 are FREE. The rain date is Saturday, September 19th with the same schedule of events.
In the afternoon, starting at 1 p.m., the LINE-X of Lehigh Valley Freedom Fest will be presented which will include a dunk tank, autograph and photo opportunities, driver interviews and more. All money raised at the Freedom Fest will go to the Camelot House in Allentown, PA.
Grandview Speedway is located at 43 Passmore Road, just off Route 100 in Bechtelsville, PA, 10 miles north of Pottstown.
